This lodging was transformed from an old coffee pickers lodging, our hostal is surrounded by beautiful landscapes among coffee plantations.

In our hostal you will have the option to choose between private rooms with shared bathrooms or dormitories to share with other travelers of the world, in this place you can have spaces with other guests and some services such as: Two equipped kitchens, which offer you the basic utensils so you can cook. If we are in harvest season and you find oranges and tangerines in the trees that are in the garden of the hostal, you can take these fresh fruits and prepare a delicious juice before starting the morning.

At the hostal you can chat with different backpackers from all over the world or just relax in a hammock and read a good book, this is the perfect place to enjoy the tranquility of nature while exploring the wonderful coffee landscapes of Colombia.

Food

In the hostal we do NOT offer food services, however this place has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, as well as a coffee station and unlimited free coffee and drinking water. Also the hostal has a mini store where you can find basic ingredients for cooking, you can also ask for our PIZZA KIT and / or BBQ meat and share with other travelers. You can also bring your own cooking ingredients if you wish.

You can also find supermarkets near the hacienda which offer delivery service and you will also find a restaurant on the main highway where you can place orders if you wish.

Finally, if you wish to have a campfire at night, you can collect the wood and share an unforgettable night with other travelers.

Activities

We invite you to use all the board games, exchange books or play sports in our garden. You may want to share your travel stories while preparing your own food and drinking a refreshing local beer. One of our favorite experiences is preparing homemade pizza which always brings all the travelers together. But you can also take a nap or read a book in the hammocks or just sit quietly in the gardens while listening to the birds calling to each other. The tranquility invites you to practice yoga as well as absorb energy for your future travels. We also offer you a daily laundry service for a small additional charge to get you ready for your next adventure.

All the other activities such as our coffee tour, chocolate workshop, bird watching, hiking and much more will complete your experience at Hacienda Venecia.

RESERVATION POLICY

To guarantee your reservation you must advance a deposit of 50% of the accommodation, which in case of cancellation will not be refundable.

CHECK-IN / OUT

Check-in: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Check-out: 11:00 am

The entrance to the farm can be done from 8:00 am, however, the delivery of the room is from 03:00 pm or before, if available.
While you receive the room your luggage can be stored at the reception and you can enjoy the spaces of the farm.

The schedule for activities is from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Special recommendation if you are traveling from Medellín:

We recommend leaving at 8:00 am, or earlier, as there is road work and the trip may take much longer than expected.

TRANSPORTATION FROM THE "AUTOPISTA DEL CAFÉ"

If you are coming by public transportation from: Manizales, Medellín, Cali, Salento or Pereira.

Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the San Peregrino Bridge, on the Autopista del Café, before arriving to Manizales, and go to the restaurant “Las Palmas”, from there you can call us or write us on the numbers below, you must indicate your name to verify the reservation in our system.

This service is free and is available from 9:00 am to 06:00 pm, after this time the transportation has an additional cost that you can verify with our reception, so we recommend you to arrive early.

NOTE: This service is only guaranteed for guests with accommodation or activity reservations.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of not being able to fulfill your reservation, you should contact our reception staff to let us know, keeping in mind that we do not refund money.

POLICY FOR GUESTS UNDER 12 YEARS OLD

Hostel
For safety reasons, we reserve the right of admission of children under 12 years old, since the hostel offers dormitories and spaces shared with other guests. Minors are only admitted if the same family reserves the entire dormitory.

Main House
At Main House, for security reasons, we reserve the right of admission of children under 8 years old.

Coffee Lodge
At Coffee Lodge, for safety reasons, we reserve the right of admission of children under 8 years old.

Overlanders
At Overlanders site, for safety reasons, we reserve the right of admission of children under 12 years old.
