Main House is surrounded by beautiful coffee landscapes and colorful plants and birds. There are a variety of areas for you to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. You can relax on the Iguana balcony in one of our hammocks or in the corridor where you can go bird watching or simply read a book. For those looking for more action, you can walk through our extensive gardens: where there are colorful birds and extraordinary plants everywhere you look. We guarantee you will never forget the first time you look into the eyes of a hummingbird or watch the peacocks dance in our garden. You will be amazed at the little wonders found around every corner.

Main House is also distinguished by its architecture. Its ‘Bahareque‘ construction and still retains its 100 year old architecture. The house is painted in shades of red and white to contrast with the lush green surroundings. A balcony surrounds the entire property so you can admire the splendor of the coffee landscape or listen to the river running.

Next to Main House, you will find our unique ‘Kiosco‘, a symbol of the surrounding ecosystem, built with local bamboo (Bambusa Guadua) and walnut wood from the region. The building was designed by architect Simón Vélez, world famous for his work, in particular for his innovative use of bamboo native to this region.

GASTRONOMY

Start the day with a delicious buffet style breakfast of bread, eggs, cheese, jams, cereals a selection of fresh fruits, squeezed juice, and Hacienda Venecia coffee. While having breakfast you will be able to watch colorful birds and small birds flying in the blue sky.

Reserve our daily menu for lunch and/or dinner a range typical Colombian dishes such as frijoles, ajiaco and sancocho. all meals are homemade and prepared lovingly by our talent local staff with traditional and flavours of Colombia, passed down throughout time in the family home.

For a dietary restrictitons of preferences, please notify at time of making your reservation, and these will be catered for.

Activities

We specialise in a variety of workshops and tours led on the farm as well as day trips and excursions in the surroundings area.

Whether you wish to delve into the intricacies of coffee, learn to make your own chocolate from cacao plant, explore the natural Los Nevados National Park, or hike the famous Cocora Valley, we offer an experience for everyone. .

RESERVATION POLICY

To guarantee your reservation you must advance a deposit of 50% of the accommodation, which in case of cancellation will not be refundable.

Check-in: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Check-out: 11:00 am

The entrance to the farm can be done from 8:00 am, however, the delivery of the room is from 03:00 pm or before, if available.
While you receive the room your luggage can be stored at the reception and you can enjoy the spaces of the farm.

The schedule for activities is from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Special recommendation if you are traveling from Medellín:

We recommend leaving at 8:00 am, or earlier, as there is road work and the trip may take much longer than expected.

TRANSPORTATION FROM THE "AUTOPISTA DEL CAFÉ"

If you are coming by public transportation from: Manizales, Medellín, Cali, Salento or Pereira.

Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the San Peregrino Bridge, on the Autopista del Café, before arriving to Manizales, and go to the restaurant “Las Palmas”, from there you can call us or write us on the numbers below, you must indicate your name to verify the reservation in our system.

This service is free and is available from 9:00 am to 06:00 pm, after this time the transportation has an additional cost that you can verify with our reception, so we recommend you to arrive early.

NOTE: This service is only guaranteed for guests with accommodation or activity reservations.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of not being able to fulfill your reservation, you should contact our reception staff to let us know, keeping in mind that we do not refund money.

Hostel
For safety reasons, we reserve the right of admission of children under 12 years old, since the hostel offers dormitories and spaces shared with other guests. Minors are only admitted if the same family reserves the entire dormitory.

Main House
At Main House, for security reasons, we reserve the right of admission of children under 8 years old.

Coffee Lodge
At Coffee Lodge, for safety reasons, we reserve the right of admission of children under 8 years old.

Overlanders
