Colombia ranks first in bird diversity in the world, with about 1,921 recorded species and about 79 endemic species. From the moment you arrive at Hacienda Venecia, you will be amazed to see recognizable and rare birds flying through the blue sky and treetops.

Calling all bird lovers to Hacienda Venecia! We are located in a privileged place for bird watching. To make the best of this, we have developed a self-guided birding tour at no cost, just ask for a copy of the material at our front desk.

If you are a birdwatching enthusiast, don’t miss the chance to explore the landscape and enjoy some of the 260 species that can be found in our hacienda. If you wish to do the bird watching with a specialized guide, we also offer this option at an additional cost.

If you are a bird photography lover we invite you to visit our bird lodge to photograph the birds next to our spectacular coffee plantations! Don’t leave without visiting it and take the best pictures, there you can feed the birds, remember to take the bananas that you will find in the baskets at the Bird lodge.
